What is Coolshowcase?
This is a virtual gallery for digital artists (illustrators, photographers, graphic designers, etc). It purpose is to promote work without charge, connecting artists with like profiles while showcasing their work.
Do I have to pay anything to publish my work?
No, at the moment you can upload an unlimited amount of images without paying a fee. Our interest is in growing the site, not in making money from it. There is a limit on the size of the images you can upload of 1MB each.
Can I post other content besides the images? Will my posts be moderated?
Posts are accepted if they relate to the theme of the site- Coolchowcase does not accept anything offensive, racist or pornographic for posting. While we do not want to limit the types of content displayed on the site, we do want to focus on digital art in all its variants: illustration, paintings, vector art, photography, etc. While the images will be moderated, they will be published immediately. Anyone who seeks to publish offensive content will be warned - persistent submission of inappropriate content will result in being permanently banned.
Will all of my submissions be published?
Coolshowcase reserves the right to publish art that best fits with other work on the site. Our goal is to have a showcase that serves both the visitor and the artist, so it is important to maintain a consistent look and feel with the work shown.
I'd like to promote my favorite artist - can I do that here?
Work by other artists can be published here only with permission, if that artist is living or if that person's work under copyright by his/her estate. In any case, any work by others should be first cleared with a Copyleft search. Once permission is obtained, the original artist should be consulted as to any text accompanying the image. The original artist retains the right to request that their artwork be removed at any time and for any reason they deem sufficient.
